White-rumped and Stilt Sandpipers are also showing up here; there was a nice batch of them (along with Wilson's Phalaropes and Greater Yellowlegs) on a flooded field near Casement Road north of Manhattan yesterday.

Gene Young and I did a survey of the wetlands yesterday. Shorebirds were abundant, especially White-rumped Sandpipers and Stilts. Several 1000 were counted. A Whimbrel and 4 Ruddy Turnstones were highlights.
