Hi all, there were hundreds of migrants moving through the Cuyamaca Mountains this evening. I was surprised at the lack of nocturnal flight calls, only hearing a couple Swainson's Thrushes and a few others that I'm not sure of, including a possible Virginia Rail. Sometimes big pushes early in the night are not correlated with big mornings, but fingers crossed.
Happy birding, -Ted Keyel Oceanside
