Weather:
The day started out cloudy with temps in the low 60s and winds out of the
ESE. However, the wind direction soon changed to ENE. The clouds broke,
revealing blue sky and the temps rose to a high of 71F. Around 2pm the
winds grew stronger out of the NE and the flight was shut down.

Raptor Observations:
Today was another surprisingly good day given the strong NE lake breeze. A
total of 758 birds were seen. The majority of the watch was conducted at
Frisbee Hill. Broad-winged Hawks outnumbered all other raptors with a total
of 433. Turkey Vultures (191), Bald Eagles (41), and Red-tailed Hawks (32)
were mixed in with the Broad-wings. There was a good number of Northern
Harriers (33) moving high with the other raptors. One Peregrine Falcon and
one American Kestrel were seen as well.

Non-raptor Observations:
A very birdy morning with lots of warblers around. 17 Green Herons came in
off the lake in small groups.

Predictions:
Tomorrow will have rain showers early with some sunshine later in the day.
High 74F. Winds WSW at 5-10 mph. There is a good chance there will be birds
on the move tomorrow. With the SW winds, there should be a decent flight.
