SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY

A GRAY CATBIRD was seen at Big Morongo Canyon Preserve on May 4 (Jose Merino).


RIVERSIDE COUNTY

Five RUDDY TURNSTONES were seen at the end of 84th Avenue (NESS) and another was at North Shore Marina on May 3 (David Rankin).

A RED-THROATED LOON was seen at Lake Skinner on May 2 (Steven Lima).

A *SWALLOW-TAILED KITE* was reported over Wildomar on May 10 (Dubi Shapiro).

A *GLOSSY IBIS* was seen on private property in the Prado Basin on Apr 30 (Jim Pike).

A TENNESSEE WARBLER was at the Salton Sea State Recreation Area on May 5 (Curtis Marantz).

A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen at Chiriaco Summit on May 13 (Loren Wright).


IMPERIAL COUNTY

A *BLACK VULTURE* was seen northwest of El Centro Naval Air Station on May 1 (Marty Lewis).

A SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was seen near the interstection of Schrimpf Road and Garst Road (SESS) on May 5 (Jodhan Fine).

Birds included in this weekly summary are those that are considered casual or of less than annual occurrence in San Bernardino, Riverside, or Imperial Counties, or in some cases regionally within these areas.
