Subject: [Ohio-birds] Denison & morris woods Wednesday morning
Much less activity/birds this morning at both spots—had to work to find warblers. 13 species of warblers at Denison, just 7 at Morris Woods. Another KY showed well near the trail at Denison & I got a glimpse of one Bay-breasted. I heard a chat there today which I haven’t heard for several days..

Saw an E Meadowlark from the road as I was driving to Morris Woods. A singing/calling N Waterthrush at Morris Wds was nice. I heard it in 2 places but could have been the same bird. Wasn’t able to spot it.

Best bird of day was at Denison—a Common Nighthawk which is a new species for my Denison list & FOY for me. I was looking at some warblers in a tree when it flew through an open part of the sky—it did not vocalize.
