I love Mississippi Kites! I have a personal story/connection to them from several years ago, and, because of that, seeing them always bring me a sense of peace and contentment. I'm very fortunate to have what appears to be a nesting pair in my neighborhood in northern Columbia. They have been here and calling for about 2 weeks already. It seemed really early, and now knowing that they are just coming to the St. Louis area confirms that. I wonder if your kites will stick around?
