Hi all, There is a proposal to change the language in the Endangered Species Act from "harm" to "take"; this implies that a corporation or individual destroying an endangered species habitat cannot be held accountable to the same extent as before, because they are not harming these species directly. As we all in this group know, habitat destruction is the single most pressing issue when it comes to conservation. And it is definitely extremely damaging to threatened species.
