While cycling on the Red House bike path today at Allegany State Park,
Merlin identified a Yellow-breasted Chat across from the beaver pond half a
mile past the Red House entrance booth. I didn’t see it and Merlin picked
it up only once in 10 minutes. That said, I was at the south Cape May
meadows last week where there were 4 YBCh and the habitat is similar.
Probably not worth a special trip but if you’re in the area …
