Mostly cloudy with haze early; 61-82 degrees; fair to good
visibility; winds light and variable

Raptor Observations:
One immature Broad-winged Hawk joined the vultures

Non-raptor Observations:
Orchard Oriole and Eastern Kingbird nests in view from our chairs.
Yesterday's May Count culminated in 72 bird species in the Park
with 10 warbler species, Bank Swallow, Cliff Swallow and
White-crowned Sparrow.

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
