I have been doing this trip for more than 30 years, and today’s outing felt
like the good old days when John Nove was the leader. Today’s birding was
just phenomenal at times. I don’t ever think I have seen 4 Cape May
warblers in one day. At one point, we had 3 Scarlet Tanagers in one tree.
Another highlight for me was my best ever look at a Tennessee Warbler, it
was eye level and singing.
