May 18: Crow-Hassan Park Preserve 7:00 am. Alyssa DeRubeis will lead a field trip at Crow-Hassan Park Preserve, a superb birding location with diverse habitats located a short drive west of the Twin Cities in Rogers, MN (Hennepin County). With hardwood forests, wetlands and extensive prairies, Crow-Hassan is excellent during migration and hosts an impressive list of breeding species including Sandhill Crane, Sedge Wren, Wood Thrush, Grasshopper Sparrow, Lark Sparrow, Henslow's Sparrow, Orchard Oriole and Dickcissel.
