Subject: [NHBirds] Tennessee Warbler
This morning I walked outside and immediately heard birds. I recognized
there were definitely some warblers but I couldn't identify them with any
certainty. I used the merlin app and the first bird to pop up was a
Tennessee Warbler. I then made a mad dash to my car for my binoculars and
camera. I hope many in this group can relate. I was never able to find
the bird to view it let alone take its picture.

When I listened to the recording back I listened for the Tennessee Warbler
so I could compare it to calls from my sibley app. They sound relatively
consistent.

But, I also heard myself swearing along the way, dropping a few f bombs
forgetting that I was being recorded, as I raced to get my equipment. I had
a laugh at my own expense and you can all get a laugh at my expense too.

And if anyone thinks they can confirm the Tennessee Warbler singing please
do. The bird sings at the 1, 7, 14, 22 and 34 second marks on the
recording. I have never posted the link to a recording like this so I hope
it works.
