Weather: Started out mostly sunny but clouded over completely by the late morning. Temps in the 40s. Winds out of the north at 5-10mph.
Raptor Observations: Today was slow, but there were a couple birds around that kept us entertained. We saw two young Bald Eagles leave the bay heading east. There was an Osprey that headed east and we thought it was going to migrate as well, however it then came back 10 minutes later with a fish. The local adult Bald Eagle also caught a fish and then flew off towards its nest. There was also one Turkey Vulture that was very slowly moving east on the inland side of the parkway.
Non-raptor Observations: The small flock of Lesser Scaup continues in the bay.
Predictions: Tomorrow will be mostly sunny. High around 65F. Winds west at 10-20 mph. There should be some movement with the west winds. However, with limited or no cloud cover, the birds could be very high and hard to see. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Maili Waters (<mailirwaters...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
