Subject: [sbcobirding] Black Swift
SB Birders,

This morning at least 2 Black Swifts were seen in with the WT Swifts and a few dozen Vaux’s Swifts on the Avenue of Flag's over the Santa Ynez River. There is a park and ride parking are on the north side of the river.
More Vaux’s Swifts were seen at Refugio Beach State Park. If you are wanting to see Swifts go to places where the swallows are seen feeding in decent numbers.
There were many swallows feeding in the field on the west side of Los Carneros road on the north side of Hwy 101.
Other good places to check are LCC, ACBR, Lk Jocelyn and Farren Road, airport property etc.

Good birding,

Wes Fritz
