Hi all,
Birdcast reported 2.5 million birds crossing the county last night ( https://dashboard.birdcast.info/region/US-CA-085 ) - definitely the best of the season so far, and roughly the same time as last year's peak spring migration. Great time to check your patches for migrants! My yard had 1 Hooded Oriole (likely breeding/summering nearby), 1 Black-headed Grosbeak, and 3 Western Tanagers this morning. Good luck to all and happy spring birding!
