Bird activity was slow for the April 20th bird walk at Ft. Harrison State Park, Indianapolis. We managed 50 species despite the slow pace. Highlights included Chimney Swift, Warbling Vireo, and seven warbler species including Prothonotary, Blue-winged, and Common Yellowthroat. The complete list is below.
There will be a bird walk each Sunday in April and May at Ft. Harrison State Park. Meet at 8am in the NE corner of Delaware Lake parking lot.
