As a follow-up to my previous post about a banded Brant that I saw in West Haven recently, I did hear back from the USGS about the bird (it's nice to know that there are at least a few people still working there!). The bird I observed was banded as an adult male in late January 2021 at the Tuckahoe WMA in southern New Jersey. As best as I can tell, this is the first time it was re-sighted.
