This afternoon I sat in my chair in my back yard hoping to see a Broad Wing. Finally one appeared but I kept hoping for more and it took a while but eventually they came nd kept coming until the last one flew by at 3:39. Some came in singles or a few together but also in kettles of about 25 birds. In all there were approximately 143 birds involved. Also seen were1 Black Vulture, several probably migrating Turkey Vultures, 1 Osprey, 3 Bald Eagles, 3 Sharp Shinned Hawks, 1 Cooper’s Hawk, 1 Red Shouldered Hawk, 2 Red Tailed Hawks and 3 American Kestrels.
