Subject: [ia-bird] Purple Finch “zing”
I’m wondering if any of you have ever heard a Purple Finch do a House Finch
“zing” in its song?
I heard one do it today and I could not see anything but Purple Finches.
I also heard one a couple weeks ago but could not find the bird.
Interesting if they would be mimicking House Finches or if it had some
House Finch genes.
