Birding In and Around Fort Smith is hosting a field trip to Sunnymede Park in Fort Smith on Saturday the 19th, weather permitting. We will be meeting at 7:00 a.m. in the parking lot. The park is at the far east end of Grand Avenue, past the Jam Mart, liquor store, and UHaul. There are no amenities at the park, but there are at Jam Mart. 220 bird species have been recorded at Sunnymede over the years. The latest addition was an unexpected Barn Owl.
