Hello Birders, I spotted a lone sandhill crane today in a field in Rabun County. I've never seen one here before - flying over or on the ground. I've checked on the bird several times today and it has not left the field. I was able to get a little closer this afternoon with my longer lens camera and it appears the crane is missing part of his left leg and foot. I'll post the photo on eBird. Is there anything that can be done for this poor bird? Melanie Vickers Rabun County, GA
