Subject: Santee Coastal good birding
Hi,
Santee Coastal Reserve in McClellanville SC, has good birding on the center dike of the Cape. The first pond on the right at 33.143808, -79.355531 has shallow water with dowitchers, stilt sandpipers, stilts, wading birds, teal, etc. Mosquitoes weren't too bad. Alligators on the mud flats are an added bonus!
