A quick note to inform that the first arrival of 2025 GRASSHOPPER Sparrow was singing away at Edgewood Park on Monday afternoon. It could be heard from the grasslands at the junction of the Sunset and Clarkia trails in the southwest section of the park. Several Blue-gray Gnatcatchers are back as well and singing along Live Oak/Ridgeview trails. That’s all for now.
