Weather:
Mostly sunny; 37-49 degrees; excellent visibility; winds very
strong from the WNW all day, 15-25 mph, gusting to 40 mph

Raptor Observations:
A very busy and productive day! Vultures and Ospreys almost always
in view. First Broad-winged Hawks of the season. 40 Ospreys an
excellent daily count. Same for 12 Northern Harriers of which
three were adult male "gray ghosts". Most migrants were low and
often close in the fierce winds. Local Peregrine Falcon flying at
high speed across the sky.

Non-raptor Observations: 4 Caspian Terns
