Weather: Snowed all morning, clearing around 2pm and becoming partly sunny. Temps in the 20s but with a much colder wind chill. Winds out of the WNW at 25-35mph.
Raptor Observations: After the snow stopped, the sun peeked through the clouds and I decided to sit at the park for a couple hours. I wasn't expecting to see any birds moving given the cold temperatures and strong winds. However, one single Turkey Vulture decided to try to migrate. It flew high over the platform heading southeast. The only other raptor seen was a local Osprey.
Non-raptor Observations: An Eastern Phoebe was feeding around the parking lot.
Predictions: Partly cloudy in the morning becoming completely cloudy in the afternoon. High of 41F. Winds out of the west at 10-15mph. There will likely be a light movement of birds. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Maili Waters (<mailirwaters...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
