Weather: 2" of lake effect snow from the wintry conditions the night before remained on the ground at site 3 on arrival, where the entire watch was conducted. Some light flurries occasionally flew during watch but never enough to obstruct visibility. Strong, gusting cold northweterly winds. Gradual partial clearing advanced from the NW.
Raptor Observations: One each of local osprey, BE and RT. No migrating raptors seen the entire width of the escarpment during watch.
Non-raptor Observations:
Predictions: Warmer temperatures. Moderate S winds early moving to W by midday.
