Subject: [sbcobirding] Tricolored Blackbird Survey
All - Just a final reminder that the Statewide Tricolored Blackbird Survey will take place on the weekend of April 18-21. There are people out scouring but if you come across any blackbird flocks while out doing your spring birding be sure to go through them for Tricolored. The birds at Sedgwick this year have been slow to settle into nesting and it would be easy to visit the pond and assume they are not around. If you are around any possible nesting sites spend a few extra minutes if you can just to make sure. Please let me know if you find something of interest.
