Weather: Partly cloudy with temps in the 30s. Winds shifted around a lot today; starting as light SE, then WSW, then the lake breeze picked up and shifted it to ENE.
Raptor Observations: Today was a beautiful day with a light movement of migrant raptors. The majority were Turkey Vultures, with a day total of 205. A few Red-tailed Hawks, Cooper's Hawks, and Bald Eagles were also mixed in.
Non-raptor Observations: The first Swamp Sparrow of the season was singing from the marsh in the morning. Eastern Phoebes and Eastern Meadowlarks were singing as well.
Predictions: Tomorrow will be windy with snow showers in the morning. High of 31F. Winds WNW at 25-35mph. Chance of snow 50%. Higher wind gusts possible.
