I recommend mailing them to the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology and requesting that they be archived with CBRC record #1976-036. If possible, please include the species, date, location, and your name on the frame of the slides.

Going through a lifetime of storage I have come across two records shot slides of the Santa Paula, Ventura County, 1st California state record of VIOLET-CROWNED HUMMINGBIRD. They are not salon quality. Even so, they are definitely record shot quality. The pics were taken Thursday, 22 July 1976.
Where is the most appropriate official person/repository to mail these two slides
assuming they are desired to be had?
