Hi all!
I hope everyone is coping with this strange (supposedly) spring weather. I’ve been hearing a lot of white-throated sparrows on campus and I was wondering if anyone has any information about the variations in their song. I was listening to some of the samples in the Merlin app and it seems that there are some pretty big differences in their song from place to place. I’ll attach a clip of the one I was hearing (please excuse the sound quality, it was taken at a busy time near the HUB and I was recording on my phone). Please let me know if you have any information about this and variations in song in general!
