Subject: [ia-bird] No. Goshawk - Blackhawk co.
An ad. NO.GOSHAWK, was perched in trees, by JD pond ( n.e. site) , about 30
min. ago. It was likely a female, as they are larger than the males. This
individual was every bit a large as a Red-tailed hawk. This is only the 4th
adult I've seen in Iowa.
