We had 11-Common Loons stop by late today and they put on a good show for us. That’s a high count for this location! See checklist for photos:

Earlier in the day, we had a Forster’s Tern and a couple of Horned Grebes stop by. I believe one has some leucism rather than being in transition. The top of the head is white where normally it would be dark gray in a non-breeding bird. Thankfully it was with another bird or I would have spent hours, (days?), searching for some European or Asian grebe that the storm blew in.
