Observers: Weather: The Watch was delayed by light rain in the morning hours. Overcast to start with gradual clearing with temps ranging from 50'-52'F. Winds were light and steady from the WNW around 7mph. Visibility was excellent after initial clearing.
Raptor Observations: Once the West breeze started, all the local Raptors gradually took flight. TV's came up mostly in pairs. Cooper's Hawks were up and about frequently with their "Moth like" display flights once again. Some migrants took advantage of the brief respite of poor weather conditions as of late. Local Raptors: TV-22, BE-1, SS-1, CH-5, RT-4 Non-raptor Observations: C.Goose-2, Mallard-2, Black Duck-3, G.B.Heron-2, M.Dove-4, Red Bellied Woodpecker-1, Raven-2, C.Crow-4, Fish Crow-3, Blue Jay-15, A.Robin-7, E.Bluebird-1, Starling-250+/-, House Sparrow- 50+/-, Song Sparrow-7, Dark Eyed Junco-3, Northern Cardinal-2, A.Goldfinch-3, Brown Headed Cowbird-16
Predictions: Rain and Snow showers throughout the day with a high temp of 41'F. Calm winds to start changing to 5-7 mph from the East.
