Weather: Partly cloudy with temps in the 30s. West winds in the morning switching to NW in the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: Today was a slow day at the platform. 32 Turkey Vultures, 8 Sharp-shinned Hawks, and 3 Red-tailed Hawks passed by. The highlight was a light morph Rough-legged Hawk that moved by over the barrier island. There were several local birds around today including a pair of Bald Eagles, a pair of Cooper's Hawks, and a Northern Harrier.
Non-raptor Observations: 5 Eastern Meadowlarks gave great views as they flew in and landed on the lawn. The large flock of American Coot continue in the bay.
Predictions: Tomorrow will have a mix of sun and clouds. slight chance of rain showers. High of 43F. Winds out of the ENE at 5-10mph. I'm not expecting much to move given the wind direction. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Maili Waters (<mailirwaters...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
