There is a kestrel hanging at the box I have at my mom's. I opened it today and there is an egg. But it looks old and dirty. I'm thinking it's from last year.
But I don't recall them nesting last year. And seems too early for a nest this year.
I only saw one bird but family has noticed one there at other times.
