SE winds at 29-38kph at 09:00, peaking at 50-61kph by 13:00. Visibility was
good in the 09:00 at 12km. By 10:00 rain developed and fog socked in the
ridge. From 10:30 – 11:30 I hunkered down in my truck while it rained hard.
By 11:30 the rain had stopped, but visibility never improved as a heavy fog
developed on the ridge. Steady temperature of 8C. At the close of the
count at the parking area it was hard to even see across the highway the
fog was so thick.
