Subject: [NHBirds] Spring finally coming to Carroll county
After a day of heavy wet snow and slush we ventured to lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro found tree swallows , ring neck ducks, bufflehead, common merganzer and a single male wood duck. In the northern county in the remaining snow we found a Merlin at his summer perch calling loudly, as the snow and ice finally melts away from Pequawket pond Conway, with our first grackles, and finally 48 juncos at our house in Intervale!

Happy spring!
