Protocol: Stationary
Checklist Comments: Sue and I were out for a wandering birding outing, possibly a walk at Hamlin Beach (skipped due to wind and lack of birds). On the way, lots of Turkey Vultures all along the parkway and then inland on the way back. Little activity out over the lake at several stops. This list just for heads up on an adult lesser Black-backed Gull in alt. plumage with the gulls near the puddle edge plus just 2 Killdeer. No other shorebirds in all our stops. On the way back from the Braddock Pub parking, Osprey on the nest platform near the Hogan Point cell tower plus a second bird that flew toward us and tried to break a limb of a tree along Salmon Creek for addition to the nest, but failed.
