A few short reports: chickadee, woodpecker, and titmice activity is constant. A phoebe is working the edge of the woods. Wood ducks are on the creek. Migrating raptors are what you’d expect right now—sharpies, red tails, an osprey and an eagle here and there, and a few red shouldered’s. Not really rare but unusual for me is the fact that purple finches are still here, having arrived in late Fall. And eastern bluebirds are checking out several of our boxes.
