Subject: [CT Birds] Late Whitney & Hamden: FOY Pine Warblers; shifting Heron nests.
1:  Pine Warblers have shown up here, at our feeders, and singing in a few places. .
. 2:  Waite St. Heronry news.  The East Side nests have had activity for a while (this is where the initial nests were built in 2016).  .
The West Side nests, however, have shown no activity so far this year.  I've not even seen prior year nests..
However, there's a new Heronry, with at least 3 or 4 nests, in the pines on the S. side of the Mather/Treadwell pond, across from the foot of Waite St.  I've seen some birds flying around recently, and saw the nests and nest building today.
Why this abandonment and new building, I don't know.
