I stopped at Snead's this afternoon to see if a Waterthrush had returned. It had been a week since I last stopped. While walking towards the creek, I noticed movement in one of the Sycamore Trees, and found a FOY Yellow-throated Warbler! They had been seen and heard last spring and summer at this location. As I approached the creek, I heard the chip note of the Louisiana Waterthrush. And a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was busy chasing a resident Downy Woodpecker. A beautiful afternoon to be out!
