Subject: April outings in Canaan
Gracious, we are certainly enjoying “April Showers!” But in the midst of a downpour and rain, a flock of robins are working my yard, and green vegetation is poking up from the puddles. It’s time to get outside and look for spring.

All are invited to the upcoming guided outings/event in Tucker County. These events are free and open to people of all abilities. Dress for the weather. Bring water, snacks and binoculars(if you have them). (And maybe snowshoes for those robin snows!!) Before heading out, check Facebook or websites for updates as events may be rescheduled or cancelled due to inclement weather. For more free nature events, including bats, beavers and bears, visit:
- Blackwater Falls State Park Foundation’s page at WVSPF.org. Also, the BWFSP Nature Center activities page on the BWFSP page at WVStateParks.com.
