Our yellow-bellied sapsucker is back or perhaps he never left. It has been an interesting cool breezy day sitting on the deck. Five turkey vultures flew over along with three red-tailed Hawks and one sharp-shinned hawk attempted to catch one of at least 47 juncos in the driveway but failed. He hung around long enough for me to snap several good pictures of him with the Nikon. We looked for the snow geese in Concord behind the post office yesterday could not find them. Perhaps they moved on. Non birding note we did catch two black bear on our game camera last night in the backyard that was exciting! Regards Randy
