Weather: Todays weather was cool but mostly sunny with scattered low cumulus clouds. The wind averages at 11 mph from the NNW. The days temperature started out as 34 and ended at 39.
Raptor Observations: Migrating birds were flying mostly low enough to see without aid of bins or scope and inland. The count ended with 517 TV's, 3 Osprey, 2 RT and 1 each UB & UA.
Non-raptor Observations: The pond was busy with 2 Wood ducks, 2 Northern shovelers, 3 Mallards, 2 Pied-billed Grebes, a lesser scaup and a Belted Kingfisher. Two resident kestrels, 2 Sharp-shinned, one Coopers and 4 eagles made for good some good views. 34 species total.
