YR Warblers are back! And a Golden crowned Kinglet. And a Rusty Blackbird.
I wasn’t expecting too much. It is only April 1! The trails that follow water ways
Are always the best here. I wanted to check on that proverbial bean field.
The old shorebird spot before I arrived in Ohio….. I didn’t realize it was flooded.
Water levels are rising again. And more storms. Great! We need some flooded
Field areas for shorebirds next week! My river levels app puts the Ohio
River at 47 ft. On late Friday. I don’t know how they can predict that far ahead!
We will see!

Wed. Is Warren county. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

California woods was its usual beautiful wildflower show this afternoon! Only the
Toad shade trillium was blooming though. The others are still just buds. Seems
Late. But I am not up on my Trillium blooming timing.

Good birding all.
