This is a follow-up to my recent note about whether to remove clean old nests from nestboxes?
Sometimes, as indicated earlier-- old nests are clean and intact in a box. There have been various perspectives on how to manage them -- remove everything and leave a clean, empty box, or leave grasses as a base for this new year?
I'd very much like to hear from those who are monitoring nestboxes, or who have direct experience from those that do, and give the results of their experiences, please?
