- Comments: "Continuing female; actively foraging under the Hwy 1 bridge over San Simeon Creek mouth lagoon. Small brown-and-white diving duck with white face, brown crown and cheeks; olive to blue-gray base to short, rather broad-based bill; coffee brown eyes; tail abraded to the point of no webbing, with only bare rachises to the rectrices. Photos to follow."

- Comments: "Slender Tringa overall slightly smaller and thinner than nearby Long-billed Dowitchers and body appeared about half the size of a Greater Yellowlegs also feeding nearby. Head appeared very round, neck was quite short, back had dark speckling, bill was straight, all dark and slightly longer than length of head (front-to-back) and lacked the upturned tip and bi-color bill of Greater Yellowlegs. Flanks were nearly unmarked and belly sides were lightly barred from legs forward. Legs were slightly shorter (proportionately) and quite spindly compered to Greater Yellowlegs. Comparison images showing size with Long-billed Dowitcher and Greater Yellowlegs are included. Bird was observed "picking and jabbing" at the water while foraging in westernmost pond (closest to South Bay Blvd.)"
