Weather:
Variable cloudiness; 54-74 degrees; fair visibility with fog/haze;
while the upper clouds seemed to be moving from the southwest, the
reported winds were northeasterly, 7-12 mph

Raptor Observations:
Eleven species today with good numbers of Ospreys, accipiters and
Red-shouldered Hawks. Both harriers were adult males - gray
ghosts. Local Peregrine Falcon for a second day of a falcon
trifecta. An Osprey was picking up pieces of plant material from
the beach and taking them back to its nesting platform.

Non-raptor Observations:
Little Blue Heron 2, Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2; Swamp Sparrow

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
