We had a first time ever Northern Cardinal (female) this afternoon at our feeders 1.5 miles South of Whitewood. Donna spotted the bird feeding and I was able to confirmed the Cardinal but it left before I could get a picture. Whitewood creek is now completely open. The only other new arrivals since last report have been Chipping Sparrows and a pair of Red Crossbills both on 3/28.
