Approximately 0.5 mi E of Highway 44 on U Road (~3 mi S of I-80's Kearney exit and 0.5 mi E). Northern Kearney County (40.625517, -99.075511) Saturday morning (29 March) in the heavy mist, cool temps, and north wind I found a lek of about 24 greater prairie chickens in the pivot corners on the south side of U Road.
